Group Project!!!

I just realized that I don't have to change my font everytime I want to post something....... I'm a noob xD

Well, today I met with my group members in my Comm 101 class about our upcoming project. We have to talk about a country and what it's culture, its social norms, and how they communicate (why not because its a communication class xDD). Guess what my group decided to do.....??

One of our ideas is to take mochi and stick two pocky sticks in it so it looks like an alien; we're going to put it in little origami boxes :3

We had to make 21 of these things @____@ TWENTY ONE. But we all worked together to make them :D

lol you can see where i folded the paper xD

it's actually kind of small when you're done folding it, so i think next time i'll use a bigger size strip :p also i'll make more colors. xD cardstock or any other hard, heavy paper is best to use when folding these.

SONOBE STAR THINGYS o(≧∇≦o) i actually don't know what they're called specifically, but i do know that they are called "sonobe" something. :p anyways, you need to make 12 sonobe units and put them together. i wish i could find a tutorial, but if i can't, then i'll make one. ^__^

small-sized one. i call it "baby sonobe". (◕‿◕✿) it's about 2 inches from tip to tip. 






medium-sized one. you can see my ugly fish pajamas here. xD i got them at forever 21 if anyone is curious. (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) the model is about 6-7 inches across.






large-sized one. i made this on a train ride in maryland. i took the brochures the tour guides gave us and i just sat there and made this. （￣ー￣）this one is 8-9 inches across.


i really like the sonobe type of origami. it's simple, but really pretty. :D

surprisingly, it spins very well o___O just flick it with your wrist and it will spin for the longest time ~ (｡’▽’｡)♡ doesn't it look like a rice paper hat though?? LOL 
i messed up the colors ;__; it's supposed to be yellow purple yellow, not purple purple yellow yellow. D: i'm too lazy to go back and change it so it's going to stay that way                                (￣▽￣)

Ummmm hi :3 my name is Tiffany and I like to do origami. :D I am in college now so I don't have alot of free time, but I'll still post whenever I can. ^___^ I'm not very good at introductions so yea........... I'm awkward .___.

I like to do mostly modular origami because its just simple and easy. Also because I like to put things together xD
